I know I get joked around with for my apparent fascination with making spreadsheets for things – at current count, my FF14 folder has 25 of them – but I figure it's time I share some of them with you :)

First up is my AK gear guide.

I created this to keep track of gear I was acquiring in all my AK runs. My goal was/is to acquire full sets of each type of gear so that, when my other classes eventually hit 50, they already have better-than-AF gear ready for them. I simply highlight in green when I've acquired a gear piece. I then know I can pass on those if they come up again in the pool.

I also went back through once WP started giving Myth and updated each cell of the AK gear spreadsheet to have a comment (viewable on hover) of the item's stats. This is so I can quickly compare if I already have something better than a piece that dropped during a WP run.

Next up will be my crafting guide and my gathering guide. Both are pretty much done but are missing the stats on hover for all the items. I'll post them when that's complete.

These really started as ways for me to sort out data and plan accordingly, but they may be of use to others, so I am sharing them here.

Crafting Gear Guide / Leve Calculator

Hey all, it's me again. Though technically still a Work-in-progress (I don't have all the hover tooltips done yet), this fully serves its functional purpose. And I just linked to it to explain to someone why single turn-in crafting Levequests are better than the overrated triple turn-in Levequests, so I should share it with you all, too :)

Tab 1 shows all the best armor per level for crafting. Highlights in green are obtainable from quests. In several slots, you can use gear from your GC. Yellow highlights are from one specific GC (Flames usually). Tabs 2 and 3 are Primary and Secondary Tools with the same idea as Tab 1.

Finally, the last two tabs are a means to plan and calculate your path forward. Since I level 5 levels at a time, when I hit my goal, I regear up and take note of available Levequests and their exp and mess with those two last tabs in order to find the most efficient one – which for me is least synths needed, since I am using so much crystal/shards in doing all crafts simultaneously.

Simply edit B10 with your current level's total exp and B11 with your current exp. Edit B3 as well (look at how it's formatted to see how the formula works) for what your goal is, then pop the Levequest exp reward into E4 and you will see roughly how many times you need to repeat it and how many items you need. I say roughly because 1) you will earn exp creating stuff along the way obviously, 2) the formula in B8 isn't working entirely but it's basic math. (At one point I attempted to include in the formula the amount of exp earned per synth – which you can see the remnants of – but it wouldn't work properly).

Disciples of Magic Gear Guide

With having finished all my Crafting, MIN/BTN (saving FSH for Vita remote play!), and Disciples of War class leveling, I've started leveling the three Disciples of Magic classes. First up for me is Conjurer, so I created a new spreadsheet to plan out my gear acquisition along the way. Since I've got every craft at 50, I can HQ all of these; hence the research.
Anyway, I figured I'd share it with you all in case anyone might be planning a similar path of leveling Conjurer.

This spreadsheet lists the best MND-focused gear up until ~45, at which point you get your Healer's gear in your White Mage quest line. Obviously it's just a guide; it's up to you to decide when along the way to upgrade your gear if you so desire. This just tells you what that is depending on the level you're at ;)

Some notes:
- I usually only note a new piece of gear if the MND stat increases (with some exceptions). There may be other pieces that increase Defense, but a CNJ shouldn't really be getting hit anyway.
- I have no idea if there's a difference between 1H and 2H CNJ weapons along the way.
- I left off Cowls (that take up both head and body).
- Dungeon drops along the way will surpass what's listed here. I generally tend to avoid including them when I create these spreadsheets (I have a STR-based one for the DoW classes) due to their randomness, but it bears noting
- Items highlighted in green are from your Grand Company. I'm a proud member of the Twin Adders, but the stats are usually the same if you're a different Grand Company, so just grab your respective piece from your GC.
- For the Level 50 row, obviously the BiS items change often, so it's left blank in this spreadsheet. I've got others that calculate BiS by factoring in attribute variables.

I have now finished doing the same as above for INT as well. After I did that, I realized most of the armor (except for some of the accessories) are the same. So I coupled both onto one spreadsheet, then made a third tab that has the same gear again, but the weapons change to correspond to Arcanist leveling.
